Senior Living in Watertown, SD

The Village of Harmony Hill, managed by the Good Samaritan Society, is one part of the Benedictine Sisters’ legacy project on Harmony Hill. It is the departure point for creating an intergenerational community and just one element of the synergistic nature of the whole Harmony Hill campus.

The Village is located in Watertown, South Dakota, and serves northeast South Dakota and the surrounding regions. The Village offers senior independent living (Benet Place), assisted living apartments (private one and two-bedroom/ two-bathroom options), as well as a memory care community. All apartments are walker, wheelchair and lift accessible and have generous windows overlooking the four+ acres of gardens, greenspace and prairie.

Many elements make The Village a unique experience for senior living and care. The Village is designed to include resident neighborhoods, shared gathering areas, varied indoor and outdoor spaces, and The Village Commons, a space unlike any other in South Dakota. The Village is truly in harmony with your care needs. We invite you to visit our community and experience what makes us unique!

FAQs

  • Does senior living feel like home?

Senior living should provide more than a place to live. It should offer a sense of comfort and safety. A sense of control. Most important, it should provide a true feeling of community. If you’re an avid bird-watcher, you may want a birdfeeder outside your window. Maybe you simply enjoy sitting and reading in your favorite chair. No matter what it is that makes home feel like home, your senior living community should provide those same comforts.
